I really wanted to like this line. The smells are great, I love the name, I love the logo, and I even bought the scent pack first so I could figure out which scents I wanted to order. I follow the influencers using it online too, so I went into it genuinely wanting this to be a win for us.
Unfortunately, it just did not perform the way I hoped. The scent smelled great in the bottle, but it did not stick on the dog once dried, even when used less diluted and with the full system. The coats also felt tacky and heavy afterward, especially on drop coats and curly coats. The only coat type that did not seem to get completely weighed down was our Australian Shepherds.
The leave-in conditioner smelled good, but it was heavy. Honestly, it felt like they took their regular conditioner and shook it up with some water. I did not notice any real improvement in the coat itself, just more heaviness.
The Shear Magic spray smelled good too, but it also felt heavy on the coat. It was not something that improved the finish for us, it just added more weight.
We also used the Alpha scent in the 50:1 Pro Pack, and it caused blisters on a client, even though we only used the shampoo from that set. After that experience, we have honestly been scared to use any of the other products, so most of them are now sitting on a shelf except for the foam facial.
The facial was the standout for me. The first bottle I received had black chunks floating in it. I did not send it back, I just ordered another one, so I paid for both bottles myself. The second one did not have chunks. Even with that issue, I really do love the facial because it worked well, smelled good, and did not irritate the eyes.
I see it asks for pics below, if I can get my client to send pics of the blisters, I will try to add later. He is a regular client of ours and has never had any previous skin issues.
