Answer - Yes & No - One reason our scents may not linger as long as some other products is because we don’t use alcohol, which is often added to extend fragrance wear. While alcohol can help a scent last, it can also be drying and irritating to both skin and coat—so we’ve chosen to avoid it in favor of organic, naturally derived ingredients that are safer and more beneficial for both the groomer, pet parent and the pup.

To help extend the scent a bit longer, we definitely encourage using our matching detangler spray. Not only does it help carry the fragrance further, but it also adds a layer of hydration to the coat and skin, leaving the dog feeling soft and refreshed.

How to Use The Funky Poodle Leave-In Conditioner for Deshedding

For best results, follow these simple steps:

Apply Generously: After bathing, apply a generous amount of our Leave-In Conditioner evenly throughout the coat.

1. Let It Sit: Allow the product to sit for 5 minutes to deeply penetrate and loosen shedding hair.
2. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the coat thoroughly to remove loosened fur and excess product.
3. Apply Again (Leave-In): Reapply a light amount of conditioner evenly through the coat—this time, do not rinse.
4. Blow Dry: Blow dry as normal to help release any remaining loose hair and leave the coat soft, shiny, and manageable.

This two-step method helps reduce shedding, hydrates the skin, and leaves the coat feeling refreshed and nourished.
