My Honest Review on Funky Poodle Products

I’ve been using several products from The Funky Poodle line, and let me tell you, they have earned a permanent spot in my grooming routine. From the Funky Groom Shampoo and Leave-In Conditioner to the Detangler, Secret Sauce Oil, and Scissor Spray, each product delivers exactly what professional groomers like myself need.

The results have been incredible. Soft, luxurious coats with a healthy shine and that signature Candy Cane scent that clients cannot stop raving about. My long-haired and short-haired fur babies both come out looking and feeling amazing, and pet parents have been loving the results just as much as I do.

The products are lightweight, effective, and elevate every finish I create behind the table. I am so glad I got connected with Funky Poodle back at Fun in the Sun. It has been one of the best finds for my grooming toolkit.

One of the 1st dogs I used the trial pack on, a newfie, had a dramatic transformation. His coat was completely fried. Crispy, frizzy, dull. Texture started to change with the shampoo and continued to improve with the conditioner, coat oil and detangler. At the end he was soft, shiny, with airy coat movement. I was truly impressed with the products performance!
Scent is light and very pleasant, you smell it when you hug the dog but not 10 feet away like some overpowering products.
The pricing is high but feels appropriate for the quality and effectiveness of the products.
My only real concern or reservations is the extended lead time for shipping. Extreme foresight in a fast paced and busy salon would be needed to stay reliably stocked. Even as a smaller salon i feel I may not get the products I need when I need them if I made this a staple. Until production is scaled to demand I likely wont be able to carry the brand as my go to. However I look forward to that day!

After ordering a few of the sample kits, I realized that I can never go back to other shampoo brands. The dogs I groom smell incredible and are so soft and shiny. Customer for life after one order.
